ATLANTA, GEORGIA June 10, 2024 — Allinial Global is pleased to announce that the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) has named member firm Cherry Bekaert a winner of the 2024 We AAM to Serve Marketing Achievement Award.
As part of AAM’s prestigious Marketing Achievement Awards (AAM-MAAs), the We AAM to Serve award honors firms that give back, bring about change, and build stronger communities where they live and work. This year’s winners were selected from a pool of nearly 100 submissions by a panel of professional experts in marketing, advertising, communications, and professional services.
Cherry Bekaert’s win centered on a handful of service-oriented initiatives, including the launch of the Cherry Bekaert Foundation, which carries out the firm’s value of making a difference in the communities it serves through volunteerism and financial support of national and local organizations. The firm’s Strategic Financial Services (SFS) practice also welcomed its first fellow to the Open Access Fellowship program, which is designed to increase Black and Latinx representation within the community development companies that serve their communities. Additionally, Cherry Bekaert’s annual Volunteer Week supported over 35 nonprofits nationwide through the efforts of 669 team members who contributed 2,393 volunteer hours, as well as monetary and in-kind donations.
