FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Allinial Global the First Global Accounting Association to Sign the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion Pledge

ATLANTA, GEORGIA October 29, 2020 — Allinial Global, the world’s second largest accounting association, signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion Pledge on October 6, 2020, leading the way as the first global accounting association to sign the pledge to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

Mark Koziel, President and CEO of Allinial Global, noted:

“Embracing diversity and inclusion is important to our organization both internally and externally. Our member firms have been asking for help, and we’re providing tools and resources to achieve real progress in this area. One way is by signing the pledge and getting access to the great tools presented here. Our member firms BPM LLP, EisnerAmper LLP, Wipfli LLP, and Wolf & Company, P.C. have already signed, and we are also inviting the rest of our membership to sign on and encourage other global associations and networks to do the same.”

As a strong advocate for CPA firms and the former leader of the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative at the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), Koziel is well positioned to advance this important business imperative for Allinial Global members. Recognizing that lasting and meaningful change requires more than a one-time training session or checklist, Allinial Global is committed to leveraging its strong foundation of collaboration and best practices sharing among members to develop a comprehensive long-term strategy for diversity and inclusion.
