ATLANTA, GEORGIA December 18, 2024 — Allinial Global is pleased to announce that it has appointed Stephen Varley, CPA, CGMA, as interim CEO effective immediately.

With over 30 years of public accounting and industry experience, Varley has been an integral part of the Allinial Global leadership team since his appointment as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Technical Services in 2021. Throughout his ten years at Allinial Global, he has developed keen insights into the association’s strategic vision and operational needs, making him an ideal leader to shepherd Allinial Global through its current leadership transition.

Varley steps into the interim CEO role as the association’s Global Executive Board continues its search for a successor to Mark Koziel, who departs in January 2025 to become CEO of AICPA and CIMA, together as the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
